Summary
The main goal of the project is the research and optimization of the main parameters influencing the distribution and capture of Hg and other metals in the absorber used in the wet desulphurisation method. The project also includes research into suitable commercially available reagents, involving the determination of their optimal amount suitable for the capture of HgT and other metals. The research will be carried out on a transportable pilot plant developed within the project. The device will allow the simulation of real operating conditions taking place in the wet flue gas desulphurisation method. The experiments will be performed on real flue gases resulting from the combustion of solid fuels, fossil and alternative types of RDF or sewage sludge.
