Summary
The main objective of the project is to develop cooperation between two universities and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), which represent the target group of the project. Thanks to the "partnership" created within tho project, SMEs will benefit from access to top quality equipment and the latest industry findings through the transfer of knowledge from academia. More active links between universities and the business world will help to improve the innovation system and the competitiveness of SMEs, which play a key role in the development of local economies. The project focuses mainly on companies engaged in the development and production of small and medium-sized solid-fuel combustion equipment (thermal output up to approx. 300 kW), as well as alternative energy sources and air protection techniques.
