Summary
The project focuses on the development of a small-scale power system with electrical output from 5 to 10 kW based on the Organic Rankin Cycle. This technology will allow the utilization of waste heat produced in cogeneration or industrial sources which are not currently utilized due to unavailability of suitable technical solutions under existing economic conditions. The ORC unit will be designed as a flexible system allowing the use of a wide range of refrigerants depending on the various qualitative parameters of the waste heat source.
